June Update Extravaganza

Ok, so the title of this post may be a bit misleading because typically June is one our more "quiet" times during the year, but I still have much to update you on!

It's been so incredibly cool over the past few weeks to spend time with potential core group leaders for next year. These young men have a desire to lead their peers in following Christ, and there's nothing better than that to me. I was considering our leadership structure at Collin College throughout these past weeks and have discovered some interesting truths: 1.) We typically have few to no returning student leaders from year to year due to the nature of our college, 2.) Our student leaders are usually "only" first or second year students, and 3.) Our students are ALL commuters.

This leaves us with some big challenges--but I marvel at how God has provided for us in the past and up to this present day. Next year we will have more core groups than last year because we will have more student leaders. Our leaders will consist of some of the most passionate, wise, and encouraging students I've ever encountered, regardless of age. And our community is strong, tight-knit yet outward focused, and acts as one big family in good and bad circumstances.

The Lord provides.

I hope this encourages you. I hope you realize that the prayers you prayed for our ministry have been answered by God and he's showered us with even more. And I hope it serves as proof for you and I that when we rely on God, he blesses us. Thank you and thank you again for your prayers, support, and love in this undertaking of which our heavenly Father has called us.

My thoughts and prayers are with you too!

Garrett
