May Just May be the Best Month, Maybe

Hey friends and supporters!

Another month has passed and much has transpired in that time! School is now out for the summer, and summer Focus began last night. Ronnie gave a great sermon to kick us off on our theme for the summer: Built to Last. We want to instill in our students the concepts and teachings of Christ in such a way that they not only continue in their lives of faith but flourish in them.

We also had our end of the year banquet to celebrate another great year for Collin Focus. God has done so much, everything actually, and we loved to get the chance to praise him for the way he worked through our student leaders and members.

Looking back on this year, I'm reminded of how God always comes through for us if we rely on him. In every hardship, at every waypoint, fork, and dead-end he does his work. And for all the trouble and success this year has produced, I'm grateful for God's endless faithfulness in working with his people. You, especially, are included in that group.

Finally, we began our summer by bringing our new students who are interested in becoming leaders to Washington state to be trained by a ministry we partner with in Bellingham called CCF. The Student Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM) is a one week long crash course in how to lead people, love people, and follow Christ. We brought close to 50 students from all the Focus campuses this year and it was excellent!

I just want to take a second to thank you again, and honor you, my friends and supporters. Without you, I would not have been blessed to be a part of any of this. You have made it possible by your help and support, by your prayers and efforts. You are in my prayers and I am so so so so very thankful for you. God bless!

Yours for the campus,
Garrett
